British Association of Veterinary Emergency Care

The association was established in 1999. Its purpose is:

 

To establish and promote standards and guidelines for the practice of veterinary emergency and critical patient care

To foster and encourage education, research and scientific progress in veterinary emergency and critical patient care

To disseminate information pertinent to veterinary emergency and critical care to all interested groups and organisations

To help in the setting up and running of emergency practices

To promote emergency practices to the profession and public


The membership of the Association includes veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, veterinary students, practice managers, and other individuals engaged in the practice of, or who have special interest in the field of veterinary emergency and critical patient care.
